David A. King, DMin is a Board Certified Clinical Chaplain, Board Certified Pastoral Counselor, and Doctor of Ministry with more than a decade of frontline hospital chaplaincy, pastoral leadership, and clinical pastoral education experience across some of North America’s most respected institutions — including Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, where he served as the first Black Clinical Chaplain,McKenzie Health Richmond Hill and The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids). As Founding Program Director of the Institute for Chaplaincy & Theological Studies — accredited through the Boisen Institute / Spiritual Care Association and Capstone University — David equips the next generation of clinical chaplains through credentialed CPE training that earns recognized units and transferable university credits.
